I've been trying to send messages to all of her livejournal friends, but LJ said I exceeded my limit. I'm HOPING some people will see this.
I have been asked by a long-time friend of Maribeth’s to let her Livejournal friends that Maribeth passed away the morning of November 19th. This is incredibly sad news and I am having a difficult time believing she’s no longer with us.
Her friend stated that about mid-September Maribeth had started having some severe digestion problems, and had to be hospitalized. The diagnosis was ulcerative colitis, but there was some complication from a parasitic infection. She said it all just happened so fast and she passed away this past Tuesday.
It’s my understanding that a memorial service will be held in Fairfield, Iowa where she lived. I have her brother’s address, if you wish to send any condolences to him. Robert Martell 325 east grand lake bl West Chicago, IL 60185
