shadowkat67 created this meme because she just saw the latest Star Trek movie (which I had also recently seen & enjoyed... a lot).
Here is her meme to determine how big a trekkie are you:
How Big a Trekkie are you? (short answer: I am a huge Trekkie!)
1. List the Star Trek Series that you have seen. Indicate if all the episodes or some of them.
Star Trek (all several times)
Star Trek the Cartoon - I never saw any of this...
Star Trek the Next Generation (all several times)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (all several times)
Star Trek: Voyager (all the episodes, but only some a second time)
Star Trek: Enterprise ( all but only once)
2. Name your favorite episodes of each series or just what you can remember?
In the original series I preferred anything that was Spock centric
in The Next Generation I liked anything that featured Picard or Data
In Deep Space 9 I liked episodes about Garak and the Ferengi
on Voyager I liked stories about 7 of 9
and on Enterprise I really couldn't get into it, but I did appreciate the story about how the Klingon's appearance changed between the original series and the Next Generation.
3. Name the movies you have seen:
I have seen all the movies, I remember how excited I was to see that first lame one in 1980, and in fact I saw them all in the theater except Nemesis and I'm not sure why I didn't make it to that... (I saw it later on DVD)
and I was thrilled to go to this latest one in the theater.
4. Favorite Characters:
Spock, Data, Picard, Garak, Quark, 7 of 9, Q, Spock's Mother & Father, Lwaxana Troi, and others I can't think of right now!
5. Favorite Character in the movie?
Bones and Scottie, but I actually liked Spock way more than I thought I would (I expected to hate seeing Sylar as Spock) and Kirk didn't annoy me (which William Shatner usually did)
I was very distressed that Uhura's role was not expanded in the movie, J.J. Abrams doesn't care at all about female characters. It is the worst thing about all his work.
6. Favorite Movie?
First Contact, but I really liked Generations too
7. Favorite writing team?
I have to confess that I never paid attention to the writers for Star Trek, really it was Buffy that made me aware of the writers on TV shows for the first time.
8. Favorite Trek Spoof?
Galaxy Quest, definitely!
9. Favorite Villian?
the Borg, Q, and I did enjoy the Cardassians on Deep Space 9
10. Least Favorite film?
Final Frontier - I don't think William Shatner is a good director
11. Most underrated film?
Um, I think most of them are over rated my own self...
I mean they are all kind of cheesy fun, but I don't think any of them have been really great movies....
12. Written anything on it, fanfic, anything?
I totally have!
http://embers-log.livejournal.com/tag/fanfic(but it is very short and silly)
13. What got you into Trek?
I was in High School when Star Trek tOS started and I was hooked along w/both my brothers & my sister, I always enjoyed watching it when it was rerun over the years, and I was THRILLED with Star Trek: the Next Generation! It always made me sad that my big sister didn't live to see ST:NG because she had already been a huge Patrick Stewart fan (he was in I, Claudius and was VERY sexy).... My sister was the biggest Trekkie in the family, attending the earliest conventions, and left behind a wealth of books and drawings about Star Trek.
14. Have you met anyone who wrote or performed in Trek.
I went to a Sci-fi convention w/my brother where we got to see Uhura & D'anna Troi, and we got to meet some minor characters... since then I've been to a lot of conventions and there are often actors who appeared in some of the episodes.... But most notably I actually was (at one time) friends with a woman who had had a role in one of the Original series episodes 'The Way to Eden':

ST:NG was favorite for a long time, but I think I like Deep Space 9 better now....
16. Star Trek or Star Wars or BSG?
I never loved Star Wars as much as Star Trek, and now (since the prequels) I don't like Star Wars at all...
BSG is brilliant, but it isn't as much fun, at least for me...
so I remain a Trekkie
17. Create an icon for me?
sorry I don't have that skill... but I have some you can look at here:

I can't think of one... maybe later.... I could make it about the novelizations... I've read a number of those, mostly about 7 of 9, Garak, and or Data... those being favorite characters who I would still like to get to know better....Okay, that was a huge waste of time, but also fun!
