abandoning lj?

A lot of people were shook up by the fairly recent clumsy censorship by 6Apart (the owners of lj) and I understand that many are backing up their journals elsewhere....
I'm thinking about it, and I've created a poll:

Poll journaling

oops: I meant insanejournal (sorry about that, I can't edit the poll...)
Poll journaling
It is like my relationship with yahoo: when I first went online my first email address was with yahoo, and I was comfortable with them, they were easy to locate on strange computers at internet cafes around the world. I set up my yahoo homepage and it had all my local tv stations, movies, all my bookmarks, my favorite cartoons, the weather for all my friends and family, and a photo album of my friends and family....
But a little over a year ago things started to change at yahoo, first they dropped my photo album and used the space for a small advertisement I couldn't take down.
So my response was to check out google, and I started to set up a home page, but it wasn't great...and I wasn't in a hurry to change.

But then a while ago yahoo froze up the TV menu, and made other things on my home page harder to use, and I returned to google to find that actually it was getting easier to set up that as a home page...but I didn't need to change right away.

Until one evening yahoo had changed everything, over night they had started running very large ads which made my computer freeze up. So that was it, no more yahoo homepage. I switched to google's, and I informed all my friends and family that I was dropping my yahoo email address (which I'd had for about ten years) and switched all of them to gmail.

This is what I'm feeling about lj, I had paid for a year just before the big censorship hooha and I don't want to waste that money by leaving too quickly.... I need to decide where I'm going and when. There is no hurry, but I won't be paying for an account here again.

So I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on this topic...
