A quick unexpected visit to the local vet was had last night for Niko.
After his dinner, he was pawing at his face, and could not seem to close his jaw
correctly. We pinned him down for a sec and took a look, but could not find anything.
Assuming that perhaps he had dislocated (?) it we took him to the vet, and they knocked him
out briefly and found a small chunk of chicken bone wedged where it didnt belong.
Then they woke him up with the antidote. Good job, much closer than my old vet,(.7 mi total)
and very reasonable price, (110.00 for an emergency office visit after hours, with anesthesia,
and he clipped Niko's nails too while waiting for him to come out of the drugs.) I think I have
a new vet...
