I actually wrote a compliment to US Airways today.
i was very impressed with the male flight attendant on flight 3277 today. He was very courteous to everyone without being fake, using his sarcasm (dare I say wit), to befriend people on board. He was attentive to everyone who needed attention. I never found out his name but I do think he deserves a pay raise! God help the airlines if they lose their sense of humor.
(What I left out: The way he demo'd how to put on a seatbelt, cool as a cucumber, without an ounce of sarcasm, was pure sarcasm.)
I think I finally figured out why sarcasm exists in an evolutionary context.
