Click to viewlately when I get up in the morning this is what I listen to. at the 3:46 point of this track, I get really excited: UNF ARGH UNF MY NAME IS HAVOK AND I'M HERE TO USE MY MUTANT POWERS ON MANIKINS AND KICK ASS AND MAKE YOUR OVARIES GO BOOM. and he isn't even my favorite character, lol. while I was in London I saw X-Men First Class with my dad. he thought it was really cool, I left the theater thinking AWWWWWWW YEAH THAT WAS AWESOME. I've developed a love for almost every member of the cast. on the plane ride back home they played the most recent Jane Eyre (Rochester!Fassy) and I was like HEY HEY HEY THAT'S MAGNETO. I have so many feelings about this movie. so many good feelings. and then there are a lot of sad feelings, too, like the ending. of course, everyone knew that they'd eventually separate and become two separate teams (unless you haven't seen the other movies or don't know anything about X-Men in general), but…but………stiiiiiiill. it makes me sad. I need to stop. don't even get me started on Banshee/Sean/Caleb Landry Jones. we'll be here all night.
I also have a lot to say about the books I'm reading but I am pretty sure no one on my flist reads them. the person I do know who reads them frequents tumblr instead, though we met on LJ. might I just say that the Song of Ice and Fire series is amaaaaaaaaaazing.
I HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST HARRY POTTER MOVIE YET BUT EVERY TIME I GO ON TUMBLR I'M SCARED I'LL SEE THE ROMIONE KISS. so yeah, I know they kiss, I read the book, they're my Harry Potter otp so what's the big deal? I want to have the experience of seeing it on the big screen first, please. it's a big moment for my otp. Ron and Hermione are my two favorite characters. there are a few other things on tumblr that I've seen that I kind of wish I didn't but I expected I'd see a lot of DH2 after the midnight premiere anyway, so at least I was mentally prepared. not like the internet runs on me-time.
watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World twice on HBO this week, because the first time I missed the first 15 minutes and about 30 minutes of the middle, making dinner, and the second time to fill in all the holes. that was an awesome movie. my mom watched it with me and she thought it was funny!!!! which excites me. I wasn't sure if she'd want to watch it with me but she did and she liked it! yay! \o/
so I've been sort of running out of steam (or at least I think I have-if you've been reading the bits that I have written these days, correct me if I'm wrong because that would up my currently very low self-esteem………/selfishly in need of an ego boost) and I would really like it if you guys prompted me! anything, really. lyrics/songs, poems, quotes, pictures, scenarios, etc. throw specific fandoms and pairings in, too, if you'd like! I just need a bit of a boost :D
I also made a writing blog on tumblr, but there's really nothing on there yet at all. and I'm not leaving boycities, I'll be doing a lot of cross-posting. mostly because I'm on tumblr more than LJ so I wanted to have a writing place there, too.
I miss Doctor Who :( I am not handling this mid-season break very well, mind you. even with the plethora of distractions.
