I Am The Very Model of a Wrimo Individual
Only four days until NaNoWriMo! I need this so much it's become like a vacation for me. I haven't had a creative focus in a while, and I'm looking forward to the fast pace. Which reminds me, I am going to finish it this year. I've told far too many people that this is absolutely happening, that way my pride won't let me back down. It's a good plan.
Speaking of vacations, my family is taking a few days after Christmas to go to New York City. My dad is getting tickets for the family to see Mamma Mia (not my first choice, but the parents want something they'll enjoy) on the 27th. The afternoon of the 26th is free, so I've gotten tickets for Danielle and I to see American Idiot. Stark Sands and John Gallagher Jr! :D We're going to try to get our programs signed after the show, and I'm taking my Generation Kill DVD box just in case.
Things are lukewarm on the job front. I've applied to several temp agencies and they're forwarding my resume to potential job opportunities. I'm also in the process of filling out an application for substitute teaching. I just need to find a Notary Public in my area.
