My god, Easter is going to be recalled as a mere blur. So much has happened, I didn't stop for a week, in fact a few days before we broke up. By last Sun I was gasping for a break, but in a plesant way: excess socalising is never a bad thing. Don't have the energy to describe all happenings, so some highlights:
- "Ok, I Quick Draw my soapbox"
- Down to MK with the Pirates of the Caribbean music in Phil C's car stereo.
- Chris M stealing my camera, running up Emily's winding staircase, hiding, taking photos of my head, and then when confronted, rising up to bang his head accidently on the ceiling...
- Awaiting the first wave of demon attacks, as the drums beat, the rain poured, and the sky broke into a gorgeous red glow above us. (The LARP)
- My fight with Kim!
- Doubting Thomas covering The Offspring's 'The Kids Aren't Alright'
- The 'talk to randoms' game with Julz
- Phil M and I's man-to-man chat being hilariously interuppted by the sudden appearance of a pair from a darkened room...
- My screaming
- Wine at Bankers, and promises of books
- The humerous yet short-lived game of Risk
- Talking for a long time and only realising the time because of the birdsong
- Discovering the brilliance that are Human Fortress
So revised for a few days, I've done quite a bit of Politics this hol, and on Tues went to Cambridge to grab revision guides, because Bedford sux when it comes to revision guides. So I have a coolio Cold War book and some M4M notes :)
Thurs saw a grand adventure for Max and I, to Kim's abode, with some manly shopping interludes, and a search for a random item- a squeaky dog toy in the guise of a champers bottle!. A good party followed. I didn't win the random item competetion...
Last night was a real pub/bar/club crawl with El Beale Crew, from the usual Lust, and Woo Woos, in Bankers, then checking out The Square (not bad et all), then Venom (I never even knew it existed) but it has BEDS! and we got one! rocking. Met Phil C and his bud Owen outside, so briefly went back in, then El Beale Crew went home, so the three of us headed, randomly, for Nexus. Seven quid to get in, and it's really not worth it. I'm not one for clubs really, I reckon. But pizza afterwards!
I'm in such a grand mood, it's great.
