So, from Thursday night until Monday late evening I was in hell. My mom and her friend went to New York for a vacation, so my sister and I were there taking care of the kids. The one son is my age, but he has seizures so he wasn't really able to take care of his seven year old sister. That's where we came in. We were to cook, to clean up after, to entertain the kids - basic babysitting stuff. Sara has this thing though, that where you shower her, you can't get her ears wet because her ears leak wax ... so we had to take care of that.
Well, the water is well water, and smells like rotten eggs, and showers could only be about a minute or two long 'else we'd've ahd no water. Not to mention is was over 100 F, not that I was complaining.
The house was a small log cabin in the middle of nowhere. And when I say nowhere, I MEAN NOWHERE!
See, I had to sleep downstairs where the house is just a square. During the day I was fine, but at night time I was up late at night either having panic attacks, plan old freaking out, crying, or chasing some sort of wild animal away. I got used to it a little more after the second or third night, and I had taken over my sister's cell phone.
On the second night, I was just starting to freak out and rolled over to hopefully go to sleep even though I was fully awake, and these images of him popped into my head. Normally, I don't have those sorts of things just pop in unexpectedly, or even on purpose ...
... it was kinda nice and made me giggle, and just put a smile on my face and I fell asleep after about the sixth or seventh image; about eight seconds after the first image.
I'm screwed when it comes to my schooling though; I left all my final projects BACK in kingston and they are due today, which is obviously why I'm not working on them right now, and why I'm not in class right now. xD
Yeah ... nothing good came out of it, besides all the stuff my mom brought me back! Yey!
She bought me a statue of liberty lighter, a painting of the bridge, three t-shirts (one miami ink, one new york, and one from M&M world that is poking fun at Phantom Of The Opera). She also got me a red leather bag/purse type thing (even though I don't LIKE purses) for me to carry my books around in. She also bought me a pack of the Cinnamon 5 gum I wanted to try that hasn't been released in Canada yet, and also some of these Cinnamon An - something. xD Penny bought me the third book in my series I'm reading. A Storm Of Swords by George RR Martin. The series is called Song of Ice and Fire. It's actually quite amusing, with all the great aspects a good book needs; incest, loyality, murder; crime; deceit; monsters; blood; fights; sex ... s'all good. >P
Micha recommended it to me. It's got four books in the series. A Game Of Thrones, A Clash Of Kings, A Storm Of Sword, and finally A Feast For Crows. <3
Much MUCH love. READ IT NAOW.
Also, I probably getting paid. I told Penny no, but she insisted. She said that she was amazed at how everything went so smoothly, and nothing went wrong. See, she's never been away from her kids and she's a single mom ...
... the rest is a long story ... but she has literally been through hell.
While I was there, I got had kids - inside joke - and made accounts for them when I got home. Anuk, Decoda, and Havoc. The girls are twins, and the boy is the older brother.
Anyhow, I should probably do a LITTLE bit of work on here. xD Peace out!
