"A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his."
- Josh Grogan (Marley & Me)
It touched me deeply and I'm sure it would to any of your hearts out there. It was more significant to me because CJ dislocated his hip 2 weeks ago. Poor boy who chased his favourite toy out of the room, did a sudden turn or hit into something and let out a piercing scream! The vet tried to do a hip reduction but the joints were still loose due to a hereditary joint problem. A surgery was done and when I visited him at the hospital, he was motionless. All he could managed was a tail wag instead of his usual hyperactive and aggressive self. It was worrying to learn that his other hip might be dislocated if he was not careful again.
Now, even though he is walking on 3 legs and has a hideous scar on his hip, CJ could still regain his usual perpetual exuberance. I was silently overjoyed to hear that he's chasing his favourite toy again! Silly dog who does not know what kind of trouble he gets into.
Oh well, this is what i call my fighter...
