Who: Ashley Corman, metacrisis of Lucy and the Master
Fandom: Doctor Who
Type: AU Original
Notes: Because Ash is the closest I have to a female muse, dammit, and I want to play one right now for some reason. This version of Ash lived in Japan briefly, before the UK discovered him and demanded he be turned over to UNIT. t_eyla and I's human!Doctor and human ( Read more... )

Dorian is quiet when he walks. Dorian can be quiet when he does a lot of things but today he's taking extra care to keep his movements as soft as possible ( ... )

Yep, saw it live. Starring a prof of mine, oddly. greatestmonster April 2 2010, 14:38:53 UTC
Ash cuts off the verse of "My Friends" he was singing quietly to himself when he hears the voice, his shoulders going tense and his head snapping up, to stare into the open cabinet in front of him. The straight razor he's been admiring-one of a set, nestled in a mother-of-pearl-inlaid ebony box-snaps shut in his hand.

He knows that voice, though something in the tone is wrong. Too quiet, too dreamy.

"Doctor."

He doesn't turn to look, thumbing the razor open again in his hand. His own tone is flat. Doctor. The only thing he knows about you is that he makes you uncomfortable and that the sentiment is mutual. He doesn't want you here.

Huh, never had that happen to me before. Had to have been a bit surreal. letmewritelies April 3 2010, 03:59:36 UTC
His immediate response is a harsh laugh and he turns, looking at the other as if he were stupid. “Do I,” he starts, voice still quiet though completely lacking any sort of dreamy quality now. “Seem like a doctor to you?”

If he doesn’t turn around, Dorian will take a few quick, fluid steps towards him, forcing himself within his line of sight though, if he can help it, out of arm’s reach.

Well, he's an acting prof XP greatestmonster April 3 2010, 18:43:21 UTC
Dorian steps towards him before he has a chance to turn-though he does turn as the other approaches, taking a few steps backwards as he does so, the razor again snapping shut in his hand. Unlike one of his "parents," his first impulse isn't to threaten-as much as he wants Dorian to keep his distance, he isn't about to brandish a straight razor at him ( ... )

Spike has been wandering around the Embassy for a while. He had a drink in a bar a couple of levels below, beat a sleazy-looking guy in a leather jacket at pool, hit on a group of girls and got turned down, got hit on by a blue-skinned woman with antennae and turned her down, and is now looking for further entertainment. When he catches a glimpse through a half-open door and spots a blond man dressed all in white, he decides he's found it.

He slumps against the door frame and nudges the door open a bit further. "Hey Ash. How's it going?" Spike wanders into the room and flops down in one of the barber's chairs, dangling one leg over the armrest and looking around. "Found a new occupation?"

"Spike."

The syllable contains the verbal equivalent of the eyeroll he shares with the wall he's facing. He doesn't bother to turn to look at the Time Lord. Now that you've found him, he doesn't think you're going to go away any time soon-he'll have plenty of time to turn around to eyeroll directly at you.

"The one and only." Spike spreads his arms in a here-I-am gesture and tips his head back over the chair's armrest to look at Ash while he uses his left foot to make the chair spin around very slowly.

"Haven't seen you in a while. You're a hairdresser now? That's convenient." He gives Ash an upside-down grin. "You can brush up my bleach job. I was going to have it get done soon anyway."

Ash wraps a length of red cloth back around the set of bloodletting tools he'd been examining when Spike entered, and stuffs them in a blazer pocket before turning to give Spike a long 'god save me from your cleverness, you're so witty' look and leaving the room.

He doesn't exactly leave in a huff. It's more an irritation.
