Teaching...
Well, I haven't written here in a very long time..I am a teacher now.
Teaching is amazing, especially at the school that was my first choice of working at. I have a wonderful team of teachers that I work with. We totally click together and totally are there to help each other out. I am so grateful for their support, listening ear, and just their smiles everyday.
We are in our third week of school and Ive already learned a lot and seen my class grow already. Even though I have had many hard days, the good days have been beating out those days and can totally see all my hard work at reinforcing rules and repeating things over and over, which has caused me to lose my voice pay off. I know it will only get better.
Its great to be doing the job I wanted to do, got my degree in, and can go home and be grateful for it, even with its ups and downs. I am so glad that I get to work at a place that I can be a light of God and in store knowledge into their brains. It is fun having the kids in my class smile to see me, even other kids around school wave and say hello. It is a very fulfilling job and a very giving job as well.
I am just grateful to know and feel that Im in the profession and place I need to be right now in my life, the place I know God wants me to be.
