Not much to say about this one...erm...well, the endless string of fights coninues, but Gaara's involved this time which automatically ratchets up the awesomeness level. Scissorhands and Newsies both have pretty loyal followings :) The former I actually saw in at least 2 of my film classes - the whole thing with the set design and contrast between the castle and suburbia is very well done.
As for Newsies... I checked it out because it had baby Batman, but stayed around for the fun dancing, decent songs, and the adorably serious romance between Jack and the sister of his best friend. If you're interested, The Nostalgia Chick did a nice analytical review of Newsies as the conclusion to her Dark Nella saga (so there are spoilers for that) here.

They really do, don't they? Yeah, I'm no film expert, but even I thought the ES sets were awesome. Leave it to Tim Burton. *.*

LOL, see, I didn't even know Bale was in it until I actually watched the Seize the Day number on YT. It was a pretty fun movie--and basking in the Jack/David chemistry was fun as well. ;D Thanks for the link; she always does fun reviews...
