nothing makes you feel old like...
going to a wedding of someone you clearly remember in diapers.
we went to jacksonville to see a family friend get married (in all fairness, he is the same age as i was when we got married, but i distinctly remember him toddling around in diapers). how sad is that. it was a fantastic wedding, probably the shortest ceremony that i've ever been to, it was in a quaint old hotel on jax beach (i never even knew it existed), the food was yummy, there was dancing, and i got to see my best friend from childhood and spend some quality time with her. overall, a fun time.
we also got to go to the beach, yippy!! i love the beach!! seeing the family and doggie was great too. they will hopefully be moving into the new (rebuilt) old house in a few months, so no rental house the next time we visit, whew.
