Can I rant for a minute...
...well, since you can't say no, here I go. I hate the post office. Well, not in general, but I hate anything associated with the postal system in Macon. For God's sake, how hard is it to take to geezly stamped and correctly addressed letters out of the mail box? Apparently, very hard. I actually met the guy who is in charge of my route now and told him that if I didn't have any mail coming in, the mail carier wouldn't pick up mail from my mailbox. He told me that he would have the problem fixed. So much for that. Today I came in and picked up my one piece of mail and discovered that my out mail was still in the mail box. GOOD LORD! If you frikin' had to put a piece of mail in my mail box, then how effing hard is it to pick up the two pieces already in there. And I thought the Mercer Post Office sucked. Why must people be ignorant and generally stupid? Why must I personally drive my mail to a post office drop box to get any mail delivered? God only knows.
