Day of Relaxation

Finally a day of no work! I slept in, worked out, layed out, went to Starbucks and read, then I took the Maxster for a long walk around the neigborhood on this beeee-utiful day.. and its funny how one small thing can make you smile for the rest of the day... as i was walking my dog, this truck comes flying around the corner, its packed with high school boys, the music is turned up really high and they're all singing... well they are just about to pass me when the brakes squeal and they come to a halt..... the 2 guys in the front are singing "You've lost that love and feeling" song from Top Gun to me..... it was hilarious! So hilar that I was embarrassed, I was smiling and laughing and managed to keep on walking but b/c i kept walking the dude goes in reverse to follow me.. so after enough sillyness the dude driving, who was the most animate, winks, gives me a big smile and drives away... as Max and I are approaching the house.. here they come flying around another corner blaring and singing that song still... so to finish the story that is what made my day, some younger guys decided to make fools of themselves to sing to me.. lol.
Now I am enjoying myself at home on a Saturday night, eating chocolate-peanut butter icecream over choc. chip cookies while watching the 4th Season of Sex and the City... *sigh* reminds me of my Sex and the City Marathon at the duplex.. how i miss Austin.. and my 3 closest gals up there... hopefully i will be making a trip sometime this month to go up there.
