so i got online and saw that bobby jindal declared a state of emergency for hurricane ike. i started to get really stressed out about the thought of evacuating (and cleaning out my room) again and then i looked at the comments below the story.

it was so funny! this one girl would not get off the fact that someone, who had a different opinion from her, spelled "stupidity" as "stupidy." she also mentioned how "cannot" is one word not two, as this guy had written as well. then this other commenter gave about 8 paragraph long grammar lesson on "cannot" and "can not" and I laughed and laughed and laughed. and then this other guy was like "when are we going to have another black murderer to rant about? i'm getting bored" and all these comments get off on so many tangents (some purposeful to show the pointlessness of the tangent) and it's fantastic! that's my story and it's why reading the comment section of the times picayune online is my favorite part of reading the local paper online.
