I was in a corner shop today and I saw a cake that was called 'The Cake That Built the Car' as in the cake car from the Skoda advert. They decided to sell sponge cakes

Mr Ward said: "We are selling the Madeira cakes used in the car to the exact same recipe, so anyone can take a bite out of this car.
"There were plenty of trial runs to perfect the sponge as the blocks were larger than we've ever made before so would not cook in the middle at first.
"But after perfecting the mixture we have decided to sell sponge cakes called The Cake That Built The Car."
I didn't buy one, but I was just surprised to see it!
