Yesterday I started the 28 day plan. (28dayplan community)
My personal goals are to stick to 3x diet soup/shakes per day, 4+ litres of water, black coffee/tea (375cal) and to exercise for at least 30mins per day.
Yesterday I had 1x diet soup, 2x diet shakes, 2x black coffees - 345cal, vitamins, 4.5 litres of water and did 30mins light weights & abs, 30mins cardio at the gym. (I did good!!) I found that I was more emotionally hungry than physically. I have to be careful and listen to my body - not my emotions about weather i'm actually physically hungry or not. Its like my hunger speedo is broken. I had to go bed early before I was too tempted let some rolled oats ruin all my hard work. I kept telling myself "No food tastes as good as thin feels". It seemed to work - this time round.
I am surprisingly okay today. Tomorrow might be harder though because it will be day 3 and I always find days 3 and 4 the hardest to stay on a restricted diet and these are the days I am most likely to blow it all with a big B/P Session. After I get through these next few days I should be ok.
I'm going away at the weekend though and there will be pleanty of drinking ... but I have already planned to only drink vodka in sparkling water with a slice of lemon (next to no calories). I will probably eat only salads and fish - if I have to - but if I can get away with eating nothing, I will. That will make me a very cheap date so I'll save some money when i'm out on the town anyway.
