more canning exploits
This evening (after I got back from community college teaching), I went and picked up a huge box of apples for $8. It's probably 35 pounds of apples. They're windfalls, so some of them aren't in great condition, but whatever. They were like 4 pounds of apples for a dollar.
Tomorrow, I'm going to make and can applesauce. After that, I'm going to make more applesauce so that I can make it into apple butter later. I'm unduly excited and am contemplating going to bed early so that it will be tomorrow and I can make applesauce.
