So between Russian and the ungodly heat this summer, I've had roughly zero energy most days. Nearly done with classes for the summer, but the break is short; I'm back on campus the 21st to work (at the Help Desk now! Very exciting). Russian is going well - I have mixed feelings about it but overall glad I did it and enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I did Middlebury German.
Nevertheless, started RPing again. I'm glad I gave it another chance after getting burned out, and especially glad I am giving another game a chance. Picked up Bulgakov's Dead Man's Memoirs too, which means I'm reading again, which is wonderful even if it isn't as much as I should be. (I've never read not-fantastical lit by him, but goddamnit I love this man's narrative voice).
But!
Writing a lot more. Basically I've realized that my writing habits have completely switched from how they are in high school; if I have paper and pen, I'll do so, but on the computer I don't do anything creatively productive. Able to type them up, but not expand too much. Made a writing community too for dumping grounds:
akaschicrecords . Everything up there is Tales so far, but there's pickings of various games in the series.
Because yeah. Tales. I've found a fandom that inspires me again and it's been so damn long and I'm just. It's been so long.
