Why does Skins do this to me every time? It makes me think I'll hate everyone, and in the end, I love them.

Oh, I think that his dad is potentially the worst type of parent, because they're not really doing anything wrong. I mean, look at Liv's mum, she's clearly not paying attention to her kids, and always has fads which seem to be more important, which everyone recognises is a 'bad thing' from a parenting perspective and everyone can see that and understand, whereas Nick has someone who is overly interested in shaping him and there's no room for him to express himself how he wants to, but that's not recognised as being bad. I can identify with that, and it's so frustrating when you don't know the words to tell your parent/s to back off just a little, without completely offending them and losing all of their support. Turns out Nick went for it, so it'll be interesting to see his dad's next move (that is of course, if we get to see that in the episodes).

As a couple Nick/Mini are awful. Nick's clearly aware of it, even if he's not ready to let go of that social status completely, but Mini looks like she's going to fight to the death.

Matty's had some good lines. But, uh, that's about it so far. I dunno, I'm not completely sold on him either.

Oh man, you have to catch up with PLL. It gets even better after the season break, imo. Yes! Ezra is my age appropriate crush in a show otherwise designed to make me feel like a pedo. (Saying that, I'm sure most of the actors are age appropriate, but I wish they didn't have to be in a school so much!) I also like Toby and Caleb (why yes, I have a type). I've not watched TVD in ages, I think I'm gonna wait till the end of the season and then blast through it, I hate all this waiting between eps!
