Look, I'm alive!
Hello! How is everyone? I feel like I've been away for ages and missed loads of things. Nothing bad, just busy with life. But now I've returned to see lots of new gen 3 goodies, and millions and millions of Skins US stuff.
I'm actually a little bit excited about gen 3 now. I realise I'm likely setting myself up to be disappointed, but there we go. I've not read any major spoilers, and haven't gone looking for too much stuff. I figure that I fell in love with gen 1 and gen 2 before I got into fandom and without all the extras, and should give gen 3 the same opportunity. But so far, I'm cautiously optimistic.
As for Skins US, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Obviously, it's going to be a slow start for anyone who has watched S1, judging by the short promo that they released, and there will be a lot of duplication. But when it starts to diverge then I'm really excited to see what happens. Tea's character will probably prove to be the most interesting, given she's completely new, but I'm also looking forward to see Caddie, cause I didn't like Cassie that much and it looks like they're changing a fair amount with her.

I've finally got round to putting together skins_crossgen which is the new community for cross generational pairings/friendships, and we'll also be spanning Skins UK/US as well.
Please feel free to have a flick through anything you've done in the past that's relevant and post it up, fics, vids, icons, mixes - that way we'll have a massive archive of all cross gen stuff from fandom. ALSO PLEASE JOIN AND PIMP IT OUT PLEASE THANK YOU.
