For instance, this sign is one I drive past every single day on my way to work. And every time I drive past it, it reminds me of a crusty , unkempt hermaphrodite with ratty hair and poor hygiene, whom we are supposed to dislike, mostly because he’s ugly. Really, the bad things he does aren’t any worse than some of the things the “heroes” do, and yet his offenses are supposed to be unforgivable. Why? Because he’s not a super-model like the 99% of the other characters peopling the series. x.x However, I find Diablo to be the most relatable and likable of all the characters from the Wraeththu books by Storm Constantine. He’s the only reason I made it through “Ghosts of Blood and Innocence”.
