I just got this little email from one of my good friends.

Hi all,
At the end of the week, the moratorium which has kept the internet largely tax-free will be up. I don't know the details, but internet access and email, which has heretofore not been subject to taxation, is at risk.

Please contact Normie and Dayton Doolittle to ask them to vote to extend the moratorium.

Here is a link to MN Senators: click here.

(Or just senate.gov if you're not in MN)

I sent ol' Normie an email.
Senator Coleman,

I personally don't agree with anything that you stand behind, so I don't know why I'm surprised to find that our current administration is composed of theives and liars. You have their support, that's fantastic. Good for you. Pat yourself on the back a little. Since you are in power, you owe it to your constituents to keep one of the few potential home-based businesses available as a tax free zone, especially in this depressed economic state brought about by you and your masters. On behalf of myself and other registered voters, I request that you vote no on the taxation of internet business.

We the people are not happy.

I know I'm not around much anymore. I should be soon. I've been super busy and not around a computer lately.

Similar to this subject, I'm thinking of attempting to start a show. I'm thinking I could go around and interview just random people and ask them their opinions on political stuff. I know that a lot of people complain about the way things are being done, and I'm tired of nothing changing. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone should be able to express those views in public format to let our leaders know that we are not happy.

I dunno, I've been learning some crazy shit lately, and it's really getting to me. I think it's sad that I'm just now finding out about some of this shit, especially since it can and will have an effect on my life. I'm not just talking about internet taxation. I'm talking about wars that are being waged and then not exactly being covered up, but not exactly being brought to light either. I'm talking about the deregulation of stations now conveniently happening since WOW! Colin Powell's son is the head of the FCC. Huh. Funny how even our forms of information are becomming huge corporations run by the Bush administration.

I should go check my email. Get riled up people.
