I completely wrecked my voice and throat last night running "Inquisitor!" via Skype.
And it was totally worth it.
I didn't realize until last night just how much I was really jonesing to play a game with some of my friends in Seattle - and with my buddy Noel in Florida.
Skype has a lot of sucky drawbacks to it - there are transmission problems, drops, sound difficulties, etc. For anyone who has a thriving FYF gaming community in their own back yard, I can't imagine using it much. But if you are sitting in California, and want to game with people far away from you, it is pretty cool... most of the time.
I spent half the night with a very sore throat, and am only recovering now, but in terms of psychological boost - TOTALLY worth it.
