Yeah, I did that this weekend. The Congrès was in Gatineau, so I took the train with two Matts and stayed at a hotel. Dad took me to the Sweetgrass bistro. The food was amazing and we had great dad/daughter bonding time. I was busy and used my brain and French to the best of my abilities all weekend, and I came home feeling at once renewed and tired. The best thing I did tonight was sitting down with my beautiful much-missed wife and the hedgie snuggled in my lap, peering at Russell Brand's new haircut at the American Music Awards. What's that saying? "East, west, hame's best". Indeed.
