Friday Randomosity
Whoo, y'all....we had a hell of a storm earlier. Thunder, lightning, wind, rain, and golf-ball sized hail. It was hailing so hard that the roof gutters filled up and started spilling over, so the hail hitting the deck out back sounded like gunshots. Eeep! Got a little nervous when the sky turned so dark that it looked like night out at 4:30. That's the only thing about living close to the river---we get cra-zeee storms and wicked lightning.
I had one of my insomnia episodes last night/this morning, so I was up by 4 a.m. and at work by 5:40. I got a lot accomplished before people started arriving for the work day.
Still can't get over Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson passing away this week. *sigh*
Thanks for the comments about Heroes! I've re-activated my Netflix account and have season one in my queue. I'm expecting Let the Right One In any day now. Wheeeee!
NC Browncoats are showing Serenity this weekend in Raleigh. Am sooo tempted to go up and be part of the fun. Raleigh = many, many bookstores and yarn shops and Starbucks and comic book shops and craft stores and good movie theaters... *purr purr purr*
Anyone gonna be brave and go see My Sister's Keeper? Take Kleenex! I haven't seen it, but I read (and loved) the book and blubbered like crazy over it. I want to go see The Proposal because of Sandy Bullock, but hey, Ryan Reynolds is nothin' to sneeze at, right? ;)
