beautiful Saturday...
Sorry for the lack of real updates lately. Basically what was going on,
I was waiting to hear from The Experiment and I was flipping out
because other people had already heard, and I still hadn't. So I
basically thought that they hated me and that I would never get a
Janeway, but on Wednesday I got an e-mail from Chris Frantz, offering
me a partial Janeway to So. Chile. AHHHH, I am so excited. I also
forgot to mention in the last entry that GRUV-CHI'LE is going to GIA
this summer!!! Mega (t ahhhh) props to her for that accomplishment.
Tennis is going well, we had a bakesale on Fri. to raise $$ for our sweatshirts and we ended up making over $200 I think. I still have to count it all though. We're all getting sweatshirts that say "Love is for Losers" on the back, I hope y'all get the joke. I'm playing 2singles on Monday when we get killed by Woodstock. I mean when we play Woodstock. For real, it is going to be weird not winning all of our matches, because that's what it's been like the past 4+ years. Oh well...maybe it won't be as bad as we're all expecting it to be.
Today is like the most beautiful day of the year. The other days have been good and all, but the fact that it's a Saturday and I have nothing planned for the rest of the day, except for like cleaning my room, makes it 100x better. I just gave Topher a bath outside. That's like THE sign of spring in the Carmichael household.
Last night was fun, hung out with Moll-Stein, Gruvah, and MM and had a fabbbbulous time laughiing at nothing in particular. Like the lady in the tutu moving her boxes, I'm still debating whether or not that actually happened. hahaha. Then when Gruv, Molly and the boys (Sheldon, Alec, Simon, Gershin (sp?)) went to the concert Sarah and I went to Alice's house to watch The Incredibles, which was a good movie. I fell asleep afterwards and came home at around midnight.
My little brother Joey broke his arm in 2 places yesterday and has this massive cast goign up almost to his shoulder.
Ok, i'm off, to all of you travelling in the next 2 weeks (Switzerland, Greece, London, Germany, etc) ENJOY YOURSELVES and think of us sitting in school all day. Much love,
