I attended my first Dragon Con on Sunday. I’ve heard about DC for many years, and I figured it was a crime to actually live in Atlanta now and not attend. And with GDL this close, how could I not?

Out of all the stars there, Avery Brooks was the one who made my inner fan girl go nuts!

Yeah, he was at Comic Con, too, and when I passed by his table, I was all, OMG SISKO!!!! (on the inside, of course. *g*)

It's been really nice hearing about the great time everyone's had at Dragon Con & in my hometown. *g*

It's my adopted hometown now, but I love living in Atlanta. Are you still here?

No, I moved away when I graduated from college and have been out in L.A. for almost 7 years. But all of my family still lives in the ATL, so I get out there a lot. And I still root for the Braves (with the tattoo to prove it), even though they're, um, not having such a good year. ;)
