An Evening w/ Robyn
..ok, that sounds a little like it has a dubble meaning...
So Robyn came up from the city for a coupple of days. She just got back from the Ota-Con in Baltimore, and she was staying at the Brenners for the night. So I finaly call at around 8:20 and I say,"You busy? Mind if I come over and hang out or something?" Her answer,"I gotta ask Kenny's Mom. Hay,.. wanna take me to the laundriemat by Panda Parlor?"...lol. The randomist place to hang w/ your "little sister."
...So we go do her laundry, and get ice cream, Dream Cones and a Vinila shake.. boo! Vinila stinks! Robyn..EAT MORE CHOCOLATE! lol. Of corse,. I had my guitar w/ me.. so we hung around and i jammed, and she folded laundry. Good times, good times...ofcorse.. i am a man of many hats,.. but if I run out, I'm not above putting a VW hubcap on my head for a cheep laugh. We got outta there by like a quarter to 11, maybe 11. Then the car ride back. We took the long way home and talked about everything. Her old b/f's. How hoe things are going for her in the city, my old g/f's... pritty much everything. We listened to country...lol, Binny and country? i didn't know they mixed... We listened to WPDH.. btw... after i droped u off roby, tom petty came on when i was driving home! also lol...
...I belive that I came to a realization last night. Of all my "sisters," Robyn is the closest. She was the only one to tell me that I was like an older brother to her, befor I started calling her "sis." And i came to another realization, I've come to this one befor, but... I have so many "sisters," because I lost my accual sister when I was so young. Of corseRobyn put it in perspective. I would have been a great big brother according to her. I would have had "the most pampered little sister ever." And that's a direct quote from the dork. She also went on to say that I would have been something like, "Great job at the soccer game. You wanna go get pizza. I'll drive,.. or I'll let you drive. Hell,.. I'll even bye the damn thing!" lol.. totaly funny. and totaly true too!
..we talked about how she rased her little brother. Which musta been realy hard. And it also matured her beyond her years. Binny was alwase a lil' spunkey and a lil' punkey. She had the multi colored hair and the gagued earings... but now she came back and she's alot older. The past few months realy helped her grow up. She's got a job, her hair is back to one solid color, she seemes a little calmer...not that she useto bounce off the walls or anything,.. but she seems older. We were kids in High School together,.. but she came up and now,.. whell... she's much more of a woman now. Much older then her age, 17. Whell I gotta run for now... more later.
