What a day!!
My day today started out good. I got up went to work, then after work I had to go meet with my advisor about classes for next semester. So as I'm talking to her about what I'm taking next semester, she tells me that I Must get a "B" in my Developmental Psychology class in order to have a 3.0 so I will be able to start my 300 level SWK classes in the fall. she also tells me I have to have a 2.3 Cumulative GPA to get accpected into the program right now it is a 2.0, so I say ok, I'll work to get my grades up. (for those of you who have watched me grow up you know how hard I've struggled in school). Too make a long story short My Advisor tells me point blank that she doesn't think I'll be able to get in the SWK department unless I get my grades up. She also goes so far as to tell me maybe SWK is not right for you maybe you should change your major. So should I change my major or stick with SWK???? I've come too far to change my major now but if that's what God want's me to do then I'll change! I really just don't know what to do now or how I should go about handling this! So any comments would nice!! ~Emily
