Tales of Meme, day 27
Yeah yeah, I've been too lazy to write anything for the past few days.
Day 27. Favorite Animated Tales series/OVA
Tales of the Abyss.
Well, this is actually the only Tales anime I've watched this far (excluding the first episode of Eternia), so there's not much deciding to do... But I believe it would be my favourite even if I had seen all the animations. That is because it seems to be very loyal to the game, and that's really important here because I don't have much chance of playing the game.
And you know, I wouldn't be filling this meme without it. Abyss is what made me cosplay Peony, Abyss is what made me buy Eternia, Abyss is what made me think of a pair/group cosplay and then our Tales group was born eventually. Our group is what made me want to see the whole series. In other words... It's why I'm wasting my money on a bunch of costumes and games. Thanks a lot, guys!
But really, Tales and our group has given me a lot more great moments than I ever thought they would~<3
Oh and hey, maybe I could briefly tell how I ended up watching the anime. I came across the Abyss manga on MAL. It seemed rather interesting but alas, it had no anime and I don't take up new manga series as easily as anime. But then, a couple of weeks later an Abyss anime popped up on MAL! Talk about perfect timing.
And the same happened with Kuroshitsuji at the same time! Though I started to read the manga before long, too, after hearing the anime has fillers. A wise decision, I must say... Kuroshitsuji as manga >>>>>>>>> Kuroshitsuji as anime. No objections accepted, even if Drocell is anime-only. (And yes, I still talk about Kuroshitsuji because I'm used to it and it's easier to say than Black Butler.)
