Now that the kids are older, I think it's wise to control access to their entries to "friends" only.
If you are a real-life friend and would like to continue reading about Elyssa and Shane, please follow the steps below:
1) go to www.livejournal.com and open an LJ account (it's free)
2) leave me a comment with your LJ user name and real name so I can add you as a friend to this LJ
**wait a couple of days for me to update the friends list**
3) login via www.livejournal.com/login.bml and read about them on your "friends" page or access http://elyssashane.livejournal.com directly.
Maybe you will be inspired to keep a LiveJournal-style blog too :)
