I'm going to try out this open relationship, as he says he wants to wait until after he graduates to date any girl. (he claims 10 consecutive years of relationships wore him out) I know my decision is probably foolish, but he does certain things better for me than any other guy I've had, and I'm not just talking physical. Of course he isn't perfect, but he takes my thoughts and concerns seriously and admits when he makes a mistake. He dosn't put his own pleasure first, above other, more important things (nonsexual) either...definitely one of the least selfish guys I've met in that area. Don't get me wrong, that area is very good, but, that's not all he's about, which is what I like.
I guess a red flag, though, is that he said we're at different 'levels.' No surprise, he meant life experience, but he assumes I'll get that as I graduate, etc, and break free. The real question is, will he wait? This is a risk I'm momentarily taking. He seems different in certain ways from many other guys I've dated, which is why I'm doing this.
