For those of you who don't know, LJ is having elections for their advisory board. The English-speaking portion of LiveJournal userbase gets a whole one elected representative!
One of my fellow Support and Abuse Prevention volunteers (also a member of fandom!) is running to fill this spot. She would do a ton of good on this board if there is good to be done, guys; she understands and actively participates in an awful lot of the "spheres" of LiveJournal.
So I ask you to go take a look at the community and exercise your right to vote for a nomination. Go to lj_election_en to see the whole community and find the nominee you support.
Or, if what you've heard makes legomymalfoy sound as awesome as I've witnessed her being, you can feel free to go here and post a comment saying something along the lines of "I support this nomination."
