Interesting change of plans
First, a note on the weekend: it was wonderful. It was fantastic. It was amazing. I want to go white water rafting every weekends. Bring on more class IV rapids. Hell, I think I'd even brave a class V! I have about 3248709325732975 new pictures that are all amazing. I need to unload my memory card and upload them so I can share them with people!
And now the change of plans.
So-o, I guess that I'm not leaving Calgary for Phoenix tomorrow as previously planned. In fact, the tickets have been cancelled entirely since US Air was being uncooperative douches who wanted to charge us $700 (yes, $700) to rebook for two days hence.
New plan: bright and early Tuesday morning we set out for Phoenix. In stevieg's car. We have to be back by Wednesday evening since Steve has orientation for ASU on Thursday.
Did I mention that his car is stick, and that I can't drive stick reliably, so Steve will have to drive the entire way?
Oh, and did I mention that Steve's car doesn't have any air conditioning and that we're driving it to Phoenix to stay?
I loves me some good ol' stupid an adventure!
