Well, its been a while since I've posted anything but fic in my journals. Coincidentally, I am very, very behind on my word count goal for the year. (I set a target of 300k words for the year, which means by the end of June, I should be at around the 150k mark. I'm currently around the 60k mark. I doubt I'm going to write 90,000 words in the next 18 days.)
So, I'm hoping that making regular updates of my progress will embarrass motivate me into writing more.
Current projects I am working on:
1. For scifibigbang - I am working on a mini bang for that is a fantasyAU for Harry Potter. (Yes, I am taking characters from a fantasy setting and putting them in another fantasy setting, but the muse insists on writing a HP AU inspired by Robin Owens Celta series of romance novels.) Draco/Harry is the main pairing.
2. For ncis-bigbang - I am working on an NCIS/Sentinel fusion fic with a Tim/Damon pairing
3. The sequel to Harry Potter and the Sentinel Phenomenon. This is stalled at about the halfway point right now, but I'm hoping to get back on track when 1 and 2 are finished.
4. For my original stuff, I am currently working on a sci-fi romance that is still just in the brainstorming/plotting phase.
Things I hope to get to this year.
1. A Eureka canon-divergent AU that fixes a certain episode from the third season.
2. A New Years Resolution Yuletide fic that I've wanted to write since I read the request last winter.
3. Maybe the sequel to my LCIS Numb3rs fic for Don/Colby
Plus, Yuletide, the fall round of smallfandomfest and fandom-stocking and at least one other original novel. Hopefully posting my intentions will kick my motivation into gear.
