Jing had yet to actually meet his roommate. Not that he minded, it was pleasant to just exist in his very nice rooms. He had never been higher than the middle deck so he was taking advantage of the bed and the bath whenever he got the chance. He went to work but no one really ever lost anything beyond the occasional key-card which Jing then directed them to the housing office since it would be faster to make a new key then to find the old one. His friend (and in-denial lover) Train was still being a hermit.
But Jing's latest concern was his roommate. He had seen the pokemon thing, which Jing didn't think was all that impressive and he wasn't sure what the big deal was. It was no different than a creature from his world. Though he supposed that people from various other worlds would be freaked out by the creature. The fact that his roommate's pet was essentially a mini mime was a bit creepy but then again clowns never sat right with the bandit king.
At the current moment Jing was making blueberry waffles, he didn't care if it was late at night. He wanted waffles and he had the means to make it. He actually loved that the waffles were cooking evenly rather than the waffle-maker suddenly shutting off. He turned his head to gaze over towards the door of his roommate and sighed. He walked over and knocked on the door.
"James, I'm making so food, you're welcome to some of it," he said before he went back to the kitchen.
