He paused in finishing folding his clothes and placing them in the dresser, gazing around the room that he would now share with Eclipse once again which didn't bother him, what aggravated him was that he was once again denied rooming with Eclipse. So what did his ever faithful servant do to please him? They had moved his belongings up to the lethe deck, not all of them but enough for Raenef to be comfortable. He knew that he was worrying Eclipse, you can't be a bouncy happy blond and not suddenly scare someone who has lived with you when you're not only angry but your method of discontent is not throwing a tantrum with tears.
As Eclipse called out to him he turned his head and gazed at the older demon over his shoulder. Closing the drawer he turned all the way around and nodded.
"Yes, I think that would be lovely Eclipse," he gave a small smile, most of his ire dissipating now that he was moved into Eclipse's room again.
Eclipse managed a small smiled, it was good to see that Raenef's mood was improving already. "Alright, then. How about you choose which restaurant you would like to eat at?" Eclipse found the food at most of the restaurants to actually be quite well prepared, so he figured it would be better to let Raenef choose.
And even if the blonde did choose something like the Ramen place or another "fast food" place, well, Eclipse would be willing to go along with that, too. Anything to make Raenef happy right now.
"Ambrosia," he said as he picked up one of his books off the floor and set it on the desk. He had chosen the high-end restaurant, he had no desire for the lesser food and at least Eclipse wouldn't have to cook. "Just think Eclipse," he smiled a bit evilly, "excellent food that you won't have to cook."
He moved to put on a heavier robe since the clock read later hours.
"Is that agreeable with you?" he asked though he sensed that Eclipse would agree for Raenef's happiness.
The young demon lord's earlier comment had drawn a small grin from the tutor, though. Eclipse knew full well that Raenef was poking a bit of fun at him with that statement, so he decided to take a shot at Raenef as well, "It is fine for one to rest and not worry about responsibilities every now and then, Master Raenef. Something that you yourself did quite often when you first came under my tutelage, am I wrong?" he said with a teasing smile as he opened the door to lead the way out.
They took the elevator upstairs, and found the restaurant without difficulty. Fortunately the pair did not have to wait long to be seated and given Menus,
He chuckled at the light barb that Eclipse dared and he was happy to see that the uptight tutor was willing to tease. "Just think what father would say about his son's lack of desire to study," he smiled as they entered.
As they were seated he gazed at the other. He looked at the menu, along his more "elegant" side to choose. There weren't a lot of foods that he was familiar with and Raenef was just happy he wasn't a vegetarian after all, you couldn't hurt Mr. Tomato.
"Eclipse, do you like this side of me? I know that I am certainly not a common demon, never mind a common demon."
"Oh, I am certain he wasn't worried. You are his son, after all," and it was true, after Raenef's personalities had merged, he was still a happy, exuberant individual, but he had also been able to absorb information much more easily. Like father, like son.
"And of course I like you, Master Raenef. I would have believed my willingness to stay by your side no matter what would have been enough to assure you of that," he answered. "and it is because you are unlike other demons, that draws me to you..." he added somewhat softly. It was true, he had never before come across such innocence and happiness like that which Raenef possessed.
Once the server had come by, The turor waited for his young Master to order first before he himself chose something he understood to consist of roast pig and lots of vegetables. Delicious and healthy.
He ordered a honey and pear salad as well as apricot glazed duck, he knew by the end of the meal he would be getting dessert and he had been eying the chocolate soufflé.
He blushed lightly at the mention of Eclipse's willingness to stay with him. He waited for Eclipse to place his order and he intended to surprise him.
He smiled at Eclipse, feeling his bouncier side start to rise again and he reined it in for the moment.
Eclipse noticed the way Raenef's bouncy nature was starting to flow out. Good. Although he had no idea that Raenef intended to surprise him. He merely drank some water while he waited for their food to be served.
He looked at Reanef and it wasn't until now that he noticed that familiar little glint the blonde's eyes that said he was up to something. But Eclipse unfortunately found that he had absolutely no idea what his master could possibly be planning right now.
He waited for Eclipse to finish his sip of water before he leaned over and kissed the older demon on his lips. He knew that Eclipse wouldn't be expecting it in any manner.
"Thank you Eclipse," he whispered against the man's lips before pulling away and sitting back completely in his chair.
