Tandy Cake Recipe

For those of you interested in the peanut butter chocolate cake I made that is just like Tastykake's Kandy Cake here's the recipe.

Ingredients

1 tbsp butter
1 c milk

4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c sugar
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder

12 oz creamy peanut butter
8-9 Hershey bars  (12-13 oz of milk chocolate)

In small sauce pan, mix butter and milk, bring to boil on low to medium heat while stirring. Cool till room temperature in refrigerator.

Preheat oven to 325 F degrees, grease and flour a large jelly roll pan.

In a large bowel mix (hand mixer or by hand): eggs, vanilla, sugar, flour, and baking powder

Mix thoroughly then add milk mixture and pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes till toothpick comes out clean. Microwave peanut butter 50-60 seconds in microwave and  pour over hot cake. Spread evenly then put in fridge to cool.

When completely cool melt chocolate, pour over cooled cake and spread evenly. Allow to cool in fridge and serve either with chocolate top soft or hardened.
