Christmas...
Christmas was a mixed bag for me. I got the flu, and have been sick for some time, which made Christmas suck fairly hard. I only asked for and got things like undershirts, and underwear from my parents -- but the the good news is, it's all very comfortable stuff. Nikki hooked me up with some marzipan (fuck yeah!), a funny cold war unicorn set, nice ipod headphones, and Gears of War for the xbox360. Her parents got me a ton of pipe tobacco and a FUCKING SWEET book on the hubble telescope, with giant full color images of the pictures its taken over the years.
I guess this is reading like me bragging about what I got for Christmas, but really the best and most important thing was spending it with Nikki. Having the entire week off, sick or not, I've spent nearly every hour awake with Nikki at her house just chilling out. I've got something ridiculous like 80+ hours in Oblivion now, GoW is really intense, and Nikki and I are really enjoying Hi-Def content.
Speaking of Hi-Def, the xbox360 is turning out to be a really solid investment. Not only are there some really fun games available, all of the new features of xbox live are super convenient -- like downloading southpark episodes while I play Oblivion, or something like that. Blockbuster has HD-DVDs available now for renting as well, on the online thing. The HD-DVD drive addon for the 360 is really looking up to be a damn good buy.
I think Nikki might be worried about all the electronics I'm sticking into her room. Hahahaha.
