Still got a touch of the jetlag. I started dawn patrolling at 5:00 this morning, ugh.

the Asian jetlag should have killed you. European jetlag isn't as bad.

i read "dawn patrolling" as "border patrolling" and thought that was a strange part-time job.

Really? I've found exactly the opposite.

eh- no! Knorr is definitely not pronounced as 'k-nohr'. it's Dutch and it's pronounced as 'knor'

they say it wrong in the commercials, then! it's definitely 'kuh-norr' as said by the announcer.

They pronounce it with a K in the Japanese market. But they also call a stapler a "hotchkiss" and think that's English.

well, of course, the way you do it MUST be the right way. no one's ever said it differently in all of history! WHAT FOOLS!

What a silly comment!

The brand is named for a guy named Knorr (from Germany), so the right answer is that the correct pronounciation is however he pronounced his name.

It's obvious that many countries have claimed the brand for their own, and pronounce it their own way, but I'm going to have to agree the 'correct' way is to sound both the 'k' and the 'n'.

strange we pronounce it norr here - it's my 2nd soup brand of choice.

Which absolutely begs the question - what's your FIRST soup brand of choice?!
