The prolonged break from the frustrations of ladypose moil, combined with the fact that I'm reading The Travels of Marco Polo, a mostly-true catalog of Marky Marc's impressions of unfamiliar provinces, has my soul incandescing daily with delight at the myriad subtle ways in which the Chinese mode of ( Read more... )

Hi Elyse,
I had a dream last night that we hung out and really got along. I swear it was so real, it might have been the reason I slept 12 hours today.

why people continue to humiliate their pets like that is beyond me. I can see putting a sweater on a dog cause it's cold and they NEED it but dressing them as fashion accessories is so sad

Elyse, nice to see a pic of you in this entry! You should include more! The other shots are always fun and/or intriguing, but I don't think I'm alone in saying that we never would have found out how delightful you are without being drawn in initially by your physical beauty.

In other words, please include more self-portraits amongst the travelogue!

Thank you for continuing to brighten my day with your eminently witty musings. Sometimes, they really help chase a turdarrific mood away!

This entirely sums up how i feel and what i wanted to say. Your posts always cheer me up if i'm in a weird mood and it is always nice to see pictures of you. In fact, last night whilst lying in bed, i realised how iconic your pictures with Baldovini are (from both shoots alien and evangelist) and how these pictures are so striking and will be looked at for hundreds of years (I'm sure). You bring a sophisticated humour, irony and oddity to your pictures that say so much more than the average haute couture merchandise hawking shots. Rock on big sister x
