I'm not sure, I've been following the series via torrent downloads ;)

James called me a loser for cheering during the opening credits of Season 2's premiere. "The Wall! YAAAY Jon Snow! Omg Dothraki Sea, BABY DRAGONS."

I think I may have to give in and read the books, therefore not having a life for the next month or two.

You has Kindle, yes? I bought the first four books as a bundle on Amazon, then discovered that they're all available as friendly PDFs floating around the interwebs. So I pirated the 5th one and converted it to .mobi :P

(And yes they totally ruin your life as you know it.)

How long did it take you to finish reading? I'm trying to see how many months of social engagements I need to clear off my calendar...

I couldn't say - because I recently re-read three of them in preparation for Season 2. (Why I read that many, I will never know. I meant to refresh my memory of A Clash of Kings and then I just kept going when it ended. Now I've clean forgotten where ACoK stopped.)
