Snowy day.
I was so exhausted yesterday that I spent the evening napping and waking up in like 3 heat sweats. I really couldn't get on my bike when I tried to go to French class so I just decided to take the evening off. I have a test tomorrow, though I did spend a considerable amount of time today studying and will do so tomorrow and later on this evening. Blackboard's not working so I really can't work on a part of my homework which is pretty unfortunate.
I suddenly got piled with two more pieces of homework, including a draft for an essay due on Thursday. I'm really freaking pissed off at my financial aid because they told me that I would be getting the money, that it was "already printed" and would be sent out "by Thursday" and then I found out today that it hasn't even been printed and that I should just do direct deposit. Geez, that helps when my rent will be late and I told my parents I wouldn't be needing money since THEY TOLD ME IT WAS COMING. Yeah, so I have to pay like extra on the rent and get art supplies by tomorrow for my class.
This weekend was a series of ups and downs. I had one of the best and one of the worst experiences of my life this weekend. I didn't "party" for the Superbowl, though it was on, but yeah. Crazy weekend. I went to work today, it wasn't bad. I did the first real "work" past my tax training.
I need to get home. Everything's crazy outside with the constantly pouring down snow that's been coming down all day. I was late for class by like 4 minutes because I swear the elevator took like 8. That's pretty sad because it only has 4 floors to go up.
The Temple library has such a spooky feeling, especially after the main floor. The tech center is a much more cheerful, though louder place. I visited the Hillman Library at Pitt and it was pretty nice. I've never really gone in it since the Carnegie's right across the way, but I just decided to check it out.
Um, what else? I dunno what I really have in store for this weekend, I just don't want to get behind this week after not doing homework all weekend and missing classes Monday. I found out my cousin's bridal shower is during my spring break so I'll be going to that. I really don't know what else I'll be doing during spring break though, probably just hanging out in Pittsburgh. Nothing really that elaborate.
Oh man, I got lost on the way to work today. I got off the bus too late and went all the way down past the numbered streets to like a plaza in Port Richmond and had to walk like 7 blocks back to work. It almost took as long as if I would be walking straight from my house. Oh well, next time I'll get it right. The time before I got off too early...
Anyway, I had a pretty nice weekend for part of it. I talked to more random Pittsburgh people and spent a day with Anthony, and then a little time at the Beehive. There's only so much you can do in a weekend really, but it was really nice to be back. Anyway, I will be heading home...
Ps. Every time I look up this guy keeps making eye contact with me. It's almost creepy, although I know it's probably not meant to be.
I'll work on homework in a few hours, but food is pretty nice. :) And I'm SO GLAD my friend got his letter. Finally, it took 3 tries. Anyway, happy Tuesday!
