In one week I will be back at school. I'm SO thrilled for this year, yet I feel like I need another month of summer in order to get everything done that I need to get done. This semester will be a tough one for me. I'm taking a tough course load (20 credits: yes, I know I'm nuts), swimming for the club team (something I really want to do, plus it will be a great way to meet people that aren't in the JMU "Christian bubble"), lifeguarding at UREC (why did I get a job?!), and of course, living the college life. I thought it would be good for me to write down my goals for the year. I'm sure I'll add on as I think of more, but this is a start:

-Have lunch reguarly with Corey, my roommate from last year. Although we aren't living together anymore, I would still like to stay involved in her life. We lived together for our first year of college, something that bonds us for life. She's great, and I would like to love on her as much as possible.
-Remember that I am not measured by my gpa, or by how busy I keep myself, or by how much I study. This is a big area in my life that God has revealed to me lately. I have major work to do
-Keep up with many important relationships in my life
-Take time for myself
-Swim for the club team
-Establish and maintain a good relationship with my professors
-Get to know the people that will be living on my hall
-Hang out A LOT with Leigh Ann, Ashley, and Mandi...all AWESOME incoming freshman from home that will be at JMU
-Try something new
-Play at 1am outside during the first snowstorm of the year
-Love with all that I have
-Visit my friend's home towns
-Stay up late even when I have an 8am exam the next morning
-HAVE FUN
-Don't stress too much
-Enjoy every minute of sophomore year
-Allow God to use me in Crusade and at JMU in general
-Be a light

Ok, enough for now. It's hard to believe I'm going to be a sophomore. I'm excited for this crazy adventure that's about to begin.
