The doctors have concluded that my husband's cancer treatment has failed, and he has entered inpatient hospice. Now we wait for the inevitable.
We have been together for 30 years. He has been my support and my lifeline through my years of illness. Once he's gone, I will have no family save my 80-year-old mother, who has health problems of her own. I honestly have no idea how I am going to get through the rest of my life without him.
