Thanks to Air Europa for changing my first flight of the combination to one day early....honestly, yes, it was quite a 'hassle with a suitase'.  However, I got to see the beatiful Spanish capital. Instead of arguing with the airline representatives for countless hours over the phone, I booked a room in a really cheap hostel in the very heart of the city and took a stroll around its central part with the camera on my neck the evening I arrived.
