This is my personal review on the play that I saw on the 16th and 17th of June, and this is probably going to be my last post for quite a while. I know there are a few of people from my Flist that don't particularly fancy the idea of the play, and you really, really don't have to read this if you don't want to. I'm going to put everything under a

Love your enthusiasm. I'm so glad you had such an amazing time. ♥ What you say about Ron, Ginny, Draco and Scorpius really appeals to me. I agree the part about Voldie-Bella daughter is the whackiest, haha. But Voldie and Bella are fairly whacky to begin with, especially the movie versions. I have no delusions about the worthiness of some of the plotlines I enjoy. On stage/screen, performance and production count for a LOT.
I'm so sorry you didn't get any Hugo! But there's a certain creative freedom in having your favourite character slip under the radar, as you note (just look at poor Astoria). There's an upside to everything. *g*
Good luck with everything you've got going on and I hope you'll peek in here again when you can! *hugs*

I love that sign over the theatre, too!! So many people were taking pictures, by the way, even passers-by. They said that they're going to deck the façade of the theatre with the house colours soon, though, so I'll have to go back and take more pictures! :D
Oh yes, everybody was pretty fantastic. And LOL, you're right! Voldie and Bella are so wacky already, it's only fair that their daughter's plot line is just as crazy. But I promise the performance makes you forget all about the plot. It's so good. *sighs* I want to go back and see it again!!! I can't believe that I can't see it again and again and again like a film... Uff!
Exactly my thoughts about Hugo! And Astoria... Ugh. Draco and Scorpius kept saying that she was brave and awesome and that Lucius didn't like her. Why oh why, JKR? Why?
I will definitely pop in every now and then! And thank you SO much for your comments. They are always AWESOME. ♥♥♥

I dunno about Astoria. It makes me sad that Draco should lose a wife he loved and that Scorpius should grow up without a mother. ACK. JKR can be cruel sometimes. (We knew this.)
I'm so worried about you this morning with the Brexit news - will it make problems for you living and working where you are? I hope not! *moar hugs*

J.K.R. can be heartless. We know that. You're right. Poor Scorpius. When he says that he needs Albus to come to the funeral with him, my heart ached.
I literally dreamt that Remain had won, literally, and I woke up to this. I have no words. Apparently, for the upcoming two years there shouldn't be any change for us, but my plan is to move to Edinburgh as soon as Scotland ask for their independence and get themselves back to Europe. LOL. That should be fun to watch. Honestly, though, it's such a mess. *sighs* xx

Edinburgh is one of the prettiest cities I've been to, I think. So there's that. *g* I'm glad you have a contingency plan. ♥

Yes, if you look at the chart on the age of the voters, you just see how the older generations screwed it up for the younger ones. And now I think the divorce with the EU will be a nasty affair too. The UK will want to keep lots of privileges in the EU, but the EU is already telling them to invoke Article 50 and be on their way while Cameron said that he won't invoke it, but will let his successor do it in October. I think that the EU will want to punish the UK for what they did, things are going to get ugly methinks. xx

It seems the EU are very conscious of discouraging other member nations to follow the British example. Which makes pragmatic sense but is bad news for everyone in the UK who never wanted this to happen in the first place. I'm so sorry you're right in the middle of this so soon after your big move, and I'm sorry for the British people I know who are devastated and worried. I'm worried about the geopolitical repurcussions, too, and (selfishly) about possible consequences if the UK decides to join us outliers in the EFTA and EEA leading to re-negotiations with the EU.
This just blows all around.

You know what might happen too? That the EU will be so strict with the UK, that in the end the UK will just refuse to leave. To be honest, there are so many possibilities right now, and my idea of what's going to happen keeps changing every time that I read a new article (and I do that every two minutes).
BTW, I signed the petition for London to become an independent city, I thought it was a joke, and I liked the fact that they asked Mayor Khan to become President Khan, but now they're taking it seriously. That's crazy! I signed the one about retaking the referendum too, and it's crazy the number of signatures it got in two days. But I hardly think they're going to retake it.
But yeah, this situation is completely crazy itself, so... <3 xxx
